How CopOT handles your information.

1. Data We Collect

  • Profile fields you enter (name, rank, tax/shield/reference identifiers, command/squad, scheduling preferences).
  • Overtime slip records you create (dates, times, compensation selections, notes, form fields).
  • Subscription status and entitlement information from Apple StoreKit.
  • Sign-in identity from Apple/Firebase (user ID and relay email when available).

2. How Data Is Used

  • Generate overtime slips and analytics inside the app.
  • Sync your data across devices when cloud sync is enabled.
  • Restore app access and entitlements when reinstalling or switching phones.

3. Where Data Is Stored

  • On-device local storage on your iPhone.
  • Cloud copy in Google Firebase Firestore under your authenticated user ID, if enabled.

4. Sharing and Disclosure

CopOT does not sell your personal information. Data is shared only with required service providers (Apple and Firebase) to operate authentication, subscriptions, and sync.

5. Security

  • Access controls are enforced with Firebase Authentication and Firestore security rules.
  • Optional biometric lock can be enabled for app access.
  • No system can be guaranteed 100% secure; use strong device security and keep iOS updated.

6. Your Controls

  • Edit or delete slips in-app.
  • Sign out to stop cloud sync for that device.
  • Request cloud data deletion (see Delete Data).
